Chili Fest

Thanks to all who made the Chili Fest a success! The weather was good and the Chili was deliciious, thanks to the contributions of the area Volunteer Fire Departments.


Real Estate and Personal Property Taxes

The Real Estate and Personal Property taxes have been mailed.  If there is a problem or you haven’t received yours by Decembere 10, 2018 , contact Ruth Wohlers, Little Rice Treasurer at: [email protected] or call 715-453-8714.  The taxes are due by January 31,2019 and taxes received after that date will be charged interest.  They can be paid in person on Tuesdays from 10:00 am – 2:00 pm, except for December, 25, 2018 and January 1, 2019.  The office will be open on December 26, 2018 from 2:00 pm – 5:00pm.  If you wish to pay in person at any other time, call the Treasurer at the above number for an appointment.  Any payments made after January 31, 2019 need to be sent to Oneida County.  Please follow the instructions on the 2nd Installment portion of the  bill. 


Public Budget Hearing and Special Town Meeting

The Public Budget Meeting will be held ayh 6:30 pm, November 13, 2018 at the Little Rice Town Hall.  It will be followed immediately by the Special Town Meeting and the Town Board Meeting,

The bridge over the Tomahawk River on Prairie Rapids Rd. will be closed for repairs on Monday September 17, 2018, westbound at the Point O Pines Rd. intersection and eastbound at Peaceful Ln. (East of Prairie Rapids Tap). Monday October 22 2018 is the expected open date.

A detour will be posted utilizing County Highway L (Oneida / Lincoln Counties), U.S. Highway 8 (Lincoln County), County Highway Y (Oneida / Lincoln Counties) and Lee Rd.

 

Business’s that utilize this route, please make your suppliers / services aware of the detour.

PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT
Oneida County ATV Trail System Official Closing
Segments of the Oneida County ATV Trail System (as administered by the
Oneida County Forestry, Land, & Recreation Department) will officially close for
the 2017 Spring/Summer/Fall season effective 8:00 a.m. on Monday, December
4, 2017.
The entire Lynne / Little Rice ATV Trail System will be closed for the winter
season. The West Loop of the Enterprise Township ATV Trail south of Shingle
Mill Road is also closed for the winter season.
The Enterprise ATV Campground will close for the winter on Friday, December 1,
2017 at noon.
The Oneida County ATV Trail System is scheduled to reopen on May 22, 2018.

Past Due Taxes

Past Due  & 2nd Installments of Real Estate taxes  must now be sent to: Oneida County Treasurer; PO Box 400; 1 S, Oneida Ave; Rhinelander, WI;54501.

Past due & 2nd Installments of Personal Property Taxes must be sent to Little Rice Town Treasurer;c/o Ruth Wohlers; 2544 W. Killarney Dr; Tomahawk, WI; 54487.

Past due Personal Property Taxes  overe 1 year old, will be turned over to the State Department of Collections

2nd Installments of Personal Property and Real Estate taxes are due by July 31st, 2017.

To apply for,  or renew your Dog license, send a check and a current copy of the RABIES CERTIFICATE, along with a stamped self-addressed envelope to Ruth Wohlers; 2544 W. Killarney Dr; Tomahawk, WI 54487.
